The UAE-based Gyan, a former student of Seven Great Princes Academy, was chosen by the organisers of the games to spice up the event.

According to the organisers, the games would begin at the Dansoman campus with indoor events such as fill-in-the bottle, spoon and lime race, sack race, tug-of-war, musical chairs, table tennis, basketball and scrabble.

At the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex, where the competition itself begins, activities such as football for boys and girls, and athletics events, comprising 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4x100m and 4x400m, will also be held.

According to the Director of Studies of the school, Raphael Brown, the competition was to unearth young talents for the national cause, while making students fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

He called on other schools to endeavour to hold sporting competitions to enhance the health of the students.
