Hearts will win league — Nelson

A management member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson, yesterday expressed optimism that the Phobians were on the threshold of winning their first Premier League title in seven years.

Hearts are leading the Premier League log with 39 points after 22 matches and on their heels are  Wa All Stars, Aduana Stars and Dreams FC, in that order.

In an interview with the Graphic Sports, Mr Nelson, said "We are on course to win the Premier League title even though it is going to be tough".

"The players must be determined and focused in the remaining eight matches to win the league title," he added.

Asked if he would be disappointed if the Phobians failed to clinch the title, Mr Nelson, said he won't  be disappointed since football was all about one champion.

He, however, urged his players and technical team to give off their best for the season and win the title for the fans, who have stayed by the club through their hard times.
