Kevin Osei backs Satellites to beat France

Kevin OseiFrench-born Ghanaian international, Kevin Osei, is backing the Black Satellites to overpower their French counterparts in today’s U-20 semi final clash in Turkey.

The former Olympic Marseille juvenile captain believes his Ghanaian counterparts have all it takes to triumph over France in the first semi final clash.

Osei was a member of the 2011 Satellites side but could not feature for the team due to travel documentation challenges.

And having monitored the Satellites’ steady progress in the Turkey tourney, he is convinced the Ghanaians have now found their rhythm to pay France back in their own coin.

Speaking from his France base via telephone, the midfielder noted,  “I believe Satellites have what it takes to defeat France despite the outcome of their group match.

“The team’s confidence level is high now and it is good for them. If they remain focused, they will scale the France hurdle and make it to the final and possibly win the trophy for the second time.”

Osei, who graduated  into  Marseille’s main stream side together with Jordan Ayew,  said “I was born in France but my heart is for Ghana and I am looking forward to  the day I will be handed a call up to contribute my quota  to the senior national football side.

“Currently, I am contemplating a loan deal because I need more playing time to showcase my capabilities,” he said.
