Skipper Amos Frimpong scored from a header in the 17th minute while Obed Owusu added to the tally with a unusual left foot eight minutes later.

B. A. United hardly threatened the homesters who played their game with confidence and literally strolled to grab the three points.

Lanky Mustapher Mohamned who led the BA United attack, flopped before a glorious chance very early in the game in what could have changed the fortunes of the match but he fired off target with only goalkeeper Joseph Addo to beat and messed up another chance in the 42 nd minute against the run of play.

Abdul Karim Tabla reduced the tally in the 61st minute after Kotoko were briefly put on back foot while Wahab Abdul equalised in the 75th minute.

But their joy was, however, shortlived when Kotoko scored two quick goals in the 79th and 83rd minutes respectively through substitue Richard Mpong.
