Beach soccer: Sunset player for Nigeria
Ghana’s top beach soccer side,Sunset Sports Keta, has agreed a short term loan deal with Nigeria’s Stationery Stores FC for the clubs defender, Aziz Koffi.
The deal was arranged by Sandlanders Football, a London-based network of African football clubs which counts Stores and the Keta Sandlanders among its members, and it is Ghana's first ever beach soccer transfer.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sunset Sports Keta, Dzidodo Ruben Adjahoe, told the Daily Graphic that eventhough the club would not benefit financially from the deal, the relationship between the two clubs would allow the players to gain exposure and experience of playing in high profile competitions.
He said Stationery Stores FC from Nigeria were committed to playing in the annual easter festivities tournament in Keta.
Aziz, according to Adjahoe, was part of the Black Sharks, the national beach soccer side that played in an African World Cup qualifier in El-Jadida, Morrocco last year.
He has since travelled to Nigeria to join Stationery Stores ahead of their Copa Lagos campaign which will see them compete in the FC Barcelona challenge between December 12 and 14.
Sunset won Ghana’s first two Beach Soccer Premier League titles and recently finished runner-up in the third edition of the competition.
