France cruised into the quarter-finals of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup after beating Morocco 4-0 at the Hindmarsh Stadium, Adelaide on Tuesday, August 8.
Kadidiatou Diani and Eugenie Le Sommer played starring roles as France defeated Morocco to set up a quarter-final clash with host Australia to be played on Saturday, August 12.
Eugenie Le Sommer scored a brace and one each from Kadidiatou Diani and Kenza Dali in the first half ensured they beat Morocco 4-0.
Le Sommer bagged her goals in the 23rd and 70th minutes to move two goals behind Japan's Hinata Miyazawa for the Golden Boot accolade.
