Building up to the epic fight; Banku dares Powers

Boxing sensation Brimah Kamoko, aka Bukom Banku has stepped up his witticism as his date with perpetual foe, Ayitey Powers, draws nigh. 

Banku is threatening to dismantle Powers when they clash in their non-title crusierweight bout on April 25. 

On his Facebook wall, the witty Banku says he intends to pummel his opponent, dye his stylish golden hair black and then give him a clean shave.

On Monday, February 17, he posted:

"I bring adama and shaving stick to ring. after I beat Ayitey, i use adama make him hair black, then I shave am. Nonsense hair cut. Just do sakora. because of he hair I want beat am waa. He head make me remember kokonte and groundnut soup. I don't like kokonte."

Adama is Ga word for hair dye and Banku’s post received over 200 shares, likes and comments.

On Wednesday, February 19, Bukom Banku posted yet again saying:

“they say in ga that stick that you don't respect is stick that chook your eye. Powders is stick i am not respet but this stick can not chook my eye. i will break am like broom. I go shave the 2 bofloat he carry on his head.”

On Thursday, February 6, Bukom Banku and Ayittey Powers signed a fight agreement which has GH¢40,000 on offer for the winner.

The agreement was signed in the presence of fight promoter, Alex Ntiamoah Boakye of Box Office Promotions.
