The president of the Union, Abraham Nkansah, aka Apiurugu Chakapama, told the Daily Graphic yesterday that NIB had decided to support them in no small way to enable them to cheer the Black Stars on to victory in the upcoming match at the Accra Stadium.

“On behalf of my executive, I want to express our sincere gratitude to NIB for coming to our aid to motivate us to support the Black Stars to beat Mozambique on Thursday,” Mr Nkansah said.

He stated that NIB’s gesture would inspire the union to give maximum support to the senior national team, especially when they are returning to Accra.

He seized the opportunity to appeal to other organisations to emulate NIB’s shining example.

He revealed that quite typical of Die-Hard Supporters Union, he and his colleagues were ready to support the Black Stars throughout the game until victory was secured.

Die-Hard Supporters Union is one of the most vibrant supporters groups in the country currently as they often feature in most sporting events on the local scene.
