Isaac Dogboe, one of Ghana's brightest boxers, has intensified his training ahead of his mega WBO Interim Super Bantamweight title fight against Cesar Juarez at the Bukom Boxing Arena on January 6.

Dogboe, who will be seeking to establish his invincibility in the ring to 18 wins, needs to beat Mexico’s Juarez to realise his dream of becoming a world champion.

The 23-year-old boxer returned to the country last Monday, having pitched camp in the United Kingdom in the past weeks.

Paul Dogboe, trainer of Dogboe, described his son as being fit to fight the Mexican and propel him to greater fights in the future.

He said his camp decided to take a deserved risk to fight an experienced Juarez, who once challenged for the world title in 2015.

"Isaac is fit to fight Juarez and build on his dream of becoming a world champion.

"This is a deserved fight for him to challenge an experienced boxer in Juarez and I know we will be victorious with the preparations we have had," he said.
