Gamor excels in xTKD Taekwondo
Emmanuel Gamor from the Marpro Taekwondo Club in the Western Region last Saturday won three gold medals and other awards to become the "All-Round Best Player" of the this year's xTKD Taekwondo Championship.
Gamor's feat helped his club to be adjudged the "Best Club" of the two-day annual competition which took place at the Accra Stadium.

The fourth edition of the championship saw three other African countries namely; Togo, Niger and Gabon joining their Ghanaian counterparts from the Ashanti, Volta, Eastern, Western, Central and the Greater Accra regions to compete for honours.
The event, which is the biggest taekwondo tournament in the country, embraces all categories in the sport, including seniors, juniors, cadets, para-taekwondo, as well as contests in sparring, synchronisation, breaking and taekwondo aerobics.
However, Henrietta Armah of Mamfe Methodist Girls SHS and Benson Addo of Power Taekwondo received the "Most Promising Athletes" in their divisions respectively.
An eight-year old pupil of the SOS-HG School who won a bronze medal said, "This is my first championship and I'm looking forward to working hard to win gold next year".
