President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku visited the family of the late Asante Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong (Nana Pooley), at his home in Kumasi on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
During his visit, President Okraku offered his condolences and shared in the family's grief, extending the heartfelt sympathy of the entire football community. He provided comfort and words of encouragement to the bereaved family following the sudden passing of the passionate Kotoko fan.
The visit came after an earlier meeting at the Asante Kotoko Headquarters in Kumasi, where President Okraku held a closed-door session with the club’s Interim Management Committee and supporters’ leadership.
The GFA President’s gesture highlighted the unity and compassion of the football community during this challenging time, offering some solace to the family as they mourn the loss of their loved one.

Accompanying President Okraku were Ashanti Regional Football Association Executives, led by Chairman Osei Tutu Agyemang, GFA Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong, Kotoko IMC official and GFA Executive Council member James Kwasi Appiah, and the supporters' leadership of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
