Bibiani GoldStars striker Samuel Atta Kumi and Medeama Sporting Club head coach Tanko Ibrahim have been named the Ghana Premier League NASCO Fans’ Player and Coach of the Month for October, respectively.
Atta Kumi enjoyed a remarkable month, delivering four goals and one assist in six matches while also securing two NASCO Man of the Match awards. His performances placed him ahead of Nations FC’s Emmanuel Annor, Medeama SC’s Emmanuel Owusu and Aduana FC’s Emmanuel Marfo in the final fan vote.
For winning the accolade, Atta Kumi will receive a 40-inch NASCO television set and a double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer.
In the technical area, Medeama coach Tanko Ibrahim earned the NASCO Coach of the Month title after guiding the defending champions to an unbeaten run in October. His side recorded three victories and one draw, scoring six goals and conceding just three.
His consistent results saw him rise above competition from Cioba Aristica, Christopher Ennin and Abu Henan, marking his first NASCO award of the current campaign.
Tanko Ibrahim will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set and a chest freezer as his prize.
The awards recognise exceptional performances by players and coaches in the Ghana Premier League each month and continue to highlight the influence of fan engagement in celebrating excellence on the field.
