High-flying Semenyo to cost Tottenham £80 million

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in 25-year-old Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo from fellow Premier League club Bournemouth.

According to a report by Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £80 million to sign Antoine Semenyo. 

The 25-year-old has six goals and three assists in seven matches this season, and he could prove to be an excellent acquisition for Tottenham.
Spurs need more quality in the attacking unit, and the 25-year-old could transform them in the final third. 

He could prove to be a major upgrade on Richarlison, who faces an uncertain future at the club. The Brazilian has not been able to live up to expectations since his move from Everton. 

The versatile attacker has shown his quality in glimpses, but he has not been able to deliver consistently.

Tottenham should look to bring in an upgrade on Richarlison, and the Bournemouth attacker would be ideal for them. However, the £80 million asking price will complicate matters. 

Tottenham will not want to pay that kind of money for Semenyo. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Semenyo is enjoying his football with the Cherries, but there is no doubt that he will fancy a move to a bigger club in future.
