In an interview with Graphic Sports, the former Black Stars player said: “It has been a very difficult season for us, but we are looking forward to finishing on a high note”

“We started very well at the beginning of the season but injuries really caused us at the middle of the season,” Lamptey added.

Referring to the club’s current standing on the First Capital Plus League ladden in which they lie 12th with 30 points , Lamptey told the paper that, his team was working very hard to avoid relegation.

The coach of the Dansoman-based side  believed the return of star striker Kennedy Ashia after his loan spell with Norwegian side, SK Brann, and their return to the Carl Reindolf Park would  help them finish the season on a good note.
