Jordan Ayew recovers from food poisoning - Available to face Newcastle on Sunday
Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has made a full recovery from food poisoning which caused him to miss the Black Stars 1-5 victory over Congo Brazzaville last Tuesday.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) in the aftermath of Ghana's 1-1 draw with Congo in Group E of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers confirmed that the striker suffered food poisoning and would not be able to make the trip to Congo during the course of the international break.

A picture of Ayew lying on a bed and being catered to by a nurse also went viral affirming his inability to travel with the team.
But Swansea City coach Paul Clement in an interview with Wales Online confirmed that Ayew, 25, is back in full training and available for the English Premier League clash with Newcastle on Sunday.
According to Clement, after missing the Stars' second clash with Congo Ayew spent time in hospital as a precautionary measure.
"Jordan is fit and well after missing the game through illness," said Clement.
"There were some worrying pictures of him in a hospital bed, he trained on his own yesterday and he was back in full training today so no problems.
"It was precautionary that he was in hospital so he is okay and available."
