Juliet: ’It was a dream come true:• To host CAF Awards
Actress Juliet Ibrahim has described her experience hosting the just ended 2015 Glo Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards held at the Abuja International Conference Centre, as a dream come true.

Juliet who is virtually not known as an event hostess put up a splendid performance at the event, which had many on social media and other platforms praising her performance on the night.
Juliet’s hosting the event also generated further discussion due to the fact that she was an usher at the 2007 edition of the awards and nine years later, she moved from escorting guests to their seats to co-hosting the prestigious event this year.
In an interview with Showbiz on Tuesday, Juliet Ibrahim said hosting the event was part of Gods plan for her life to bring her to the next stage in her career.
“I feel blessed, and as I always say God has been so good to me in my life that he has my entire life planned. Everything that has happened in my life is God’s plan. That’s why I never complained when I was paid peanuts to be an usher in 2007. I took it in good fate and today I was paid good enough to host the exact same event. There is indeed a time for everything,” she said.
“My experience hosting the CAF awards is a great honour and privilege bestowed upon me, for the fact that I was selected out of so many other talented hosts out there. Being a bilingual actress, all I had to do was get out there and give it my best shot. I will say thanks to Globacom for the opportunity,” she added.
She told Showbiz that she was now focusing on taking her career to the next stage in 2016, which apart from her regular movie and music projects, would include a new television series, titled Every Woman Has a Story, which she directed.
“My career is blooming as always, thanks to God. This year I am releasing my television series on Dstv as well as online for the public to enjoy. Jewelz productions, my production outfit, is going to be doing more bug projects such as my reality show. I am also launching several lines of businesses so there is more to look forward to this year,” she said.
