Under the arrangement, the UK-based former Ghanaian international will be responsible for the technical management of the club as it pertains in Europe and also see to the rebranding of Dwarfs, both locally and internationally.

Disclosing this to the Graphic Sports, the president and Majority Shareholder of Dwarfs, Nana Sam Brew-Butler, said Grant had been engaged by the club up to the end of the current league season.

According to him, other people would be brought on board as shareholders, as part of efforts to transform the club from its precarious position.

Nana Brew-Butler, who hosted Grant on his arrival, stressed that the former Charlton Athletic and Luton Town striker was to take over the technical directorate of Ebusua Dwarfs, while Cape Coast University lecturer, Prosper Narteh, plays the role of head coach till the end of the season.

Narteh, who was released by the Physical Education Department of the University to help rescue Dwarfs from relegation, was introduced to the playing body last Friday.

His appointment was announced barely two days Dwarfs had parted ways with Coach J.E. Sarpong for non-performance.

For the 43-year-old Grant, meeting Nana Brew-Butler was a memorable reunion since it was during the Dwarfs president’s administration as the chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) that the former player made his debut for the Black Stars in 1996. The hard-running Grant made seven caps for the Stars between 1996 and 1997 and scored one goal.
