New Clem win U-13 Gala

The maiden national U-13 gala tournament ended last Saturday with New De Clem FC emerging as winners of the competition after beating City Power FC 4-3 on penalties.

The score line was  1-1 draw at the end of the stipulated 90 minutes. 

The event, which was held at the Plush Unity Park at Tantra Hill, Accra, featured eight juvenile clubs from the Greater Accra Region.

After the first round of matches,Clem  topped group A ahead of Final Whistle FC, Divine Soccer Rangers and Everlasting Power while City Power topped group B ahead of Real Raskid, Universal Soccer Academy and Sunshine FC

Speaking to the Daily Graphic after the event, the C.E.O of FW Sports Consult, Fredrick Oduro,  expressed happiness that the events was successful  and hinted of the desire of his outfit to organise a similar event next year.
