Ofori evicted from MTN Academy
Soft-spoken Joseph Ofori (teammate number 11) from the Nifa Senior High School failed to realise his dreams of making it to the final of the MTN Soccer Academy “Skuulz Challenge 2” after he was evicted at last Sunday’s Eviction Show.
It was a trying moment for the 18-year-old who had showed a lot of promise so far in the competition.
Even when the news hit him, he managed to keep his cool as he waved in response to cheers from his fans and admirers.
The Head Coach of the Soccer Academy, Mr Yaw Preko, commended the 6.1ft towering defender for the steady progress he had made over the period, saying the young lad had a “great future” in football.
Ofori’s eviction makes him the seventh to follow in the trails of six teammates who had already been shown the exit and had further reduced the number of teammates left to seven, leaving two more evictions before the Grand finale.
Wahab Hanan (teammate number 9) from the T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School became the proud recipient of the captain’s arm band, taking over from Daniel Abaa (teammate number 4).
The next eviction comes off this Sunday at the MTN Soccer Academy House and will be telecast live on Metro TV.
