The two teams comprised primary school pupils who are Under-12 years from the Mamprobi area who did battle over 90 minutes on a grassless pitch.

Interestingly, the eventual winners, Mamprobi Liverpool came from behind to secure victory.

They recovered from the early setback to take a massive 4-1 lead in the first half.

Manchester City improvedtheir performance after recess but were caught on the break twice by Liverpool's devastating attack but managed to pull back a late consolation to make the score 6-2.

Members of both teams were presented with branded Puma football equipment after the game, while outstanding  players, including Prince Asante and goalie Jonathan Nettey, received certificates.

In an address, the CEO of Puma Ghana, Cindy Eghan explained that Puma's School of Speed campaign aimed to motivate children to remain in school, while nurturing their athletic abilities.

She added that the campaign would move to other communities in the capital with a focus on other sporting disciplines such as athletics.
