Watford, others want to sign Mahatma
English Premiership side, Watford, are among a host of European clubs who have expressed interest in acquiring the signature of Ghanaian international, Mahatma Otoo.
Last week the 23-year-old striker, who is highly-rated by his Norwegian side, Sogndal, put up a superlative performance as he recorded a brace in Sogndal’s 5-0 thrashing of Baerum to consolidate their lead in the Norway League.

His local manager, Ashford Tetteh Oku, has confirmed to the Graphic Sports that the interest in the former Accra Hearts of Oak skipper had come from several teams, besides Watford.
Some leading clubs in the Bundesliga and the Serie A, he said were monitoring the developments to grab the youngster’s signature.
HITC Sports recently reported that Watford had joined the pack in hot pursuit of the Ghanaian striker.
At 23 years Otoo could be a shrewd addition for the present and future – if he can settle quickly in new surroundings.
