Baileys Treat-Cation winner returns to Ghana after South African experience

A simple birthday gift turned into a dream getaway for Mrs Elizabeth Adwoa Kwankye, who emerged as the lucky winner of Baileys Ghana’s Treat-Cation promotion and has just returned from an all-expenses-paid indulgent trip to South Africa.

The promotion, launched in September last year, invited Baileys lovers across Ghana to purchase their favourite creamy liqueur for a chance to win a luxury vacation. Elizabeth, who learned about the promo after receiving a bottle of Baileys as a birthday present from her husband, was announced the winner.

“It was actually my husband who bought the bottle of Baileys for me as a birthday gift,” she recalled. “That’s how I discovered the promotion, and when I found out I had won, I was over the moon!”

Her journey began at Kotoka International Airport, where she received a celebratory Baileys-themed send-off, complete with travel gifts and, fittingly, a suitcase stocked with bottles of Baileys.

Elizabeth’s time in South Africa was packed with indulgent and exhilarating experiences, from luxurious safari adventures to cruising aboard the Mirage Yacht at the Cape Town Waterfront. She also enjoyed a close encounter with penguins at Boulders Beach and immersed herself in local flavours and sights at Route 44 Market and Polkadraai Farms.

“Baileys is all about indulgence and cherishing life’s little moments. They gave me a treat and more—a chance to truly savour life’s sweetest moments,” Elizabeth said upon her return.

She was welcomed back in style, with flowers and a commemorative bottle of Baileys, a reminder of the once-in-a-lifetime trip.
