Emmanuel Tawiah adjudged best worker of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel

A 34-year-old Front Office Executive, Mr Emmanuel Tawiah, has been adjudged the Best Worker of 2017 by the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Accra, for his hard work and dedication to duty over the years.

He was given the honours at the hotel’s end-of-year awards night and dinner dance for staff and their relatives in Accra.

For his prize, Mr Tawiah received a citation and an undisclosed amount of investment in the Gold Unit Trust, an investment product operated by Gold Coast Fund Management.

Mr Tawiah joined the hotel in January 2009 as a Front Office Executive and a Night Auditor.

A citation accompanying the award said he had since performed very well and was first nominated as Best Worker of the Month for January 2013.

“After a very good long performance at the front office, you were nominated Best Worker of the Month of April 2017.

“You were elected during the Annual Best Worker Election as the Overall Best Worker of the Year 2017 at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel,” it added.

The Vice-President of Groupe Nduom (GN), Dr Kweku Nduom, congratulated Mr Tawiah for his excellent contribution to the fortunes of the hotel and urged other staff members to take inspiration from his exceptional commitment to duty.

As a group that values its human resource, Dr Nduom said the management would continue to invest in its workforce to help bring out the best in them.

The General Manager of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Accra, Mr Ralph Ayitey, also thanked Mr Tawiah for his dedication to duty over the years and expressed the hope that the recognition would inspire him to work even harder.

He indicated that the hotel would continue to recognise and reward hard work with the aim of motivating staff to live up to the best of their God-given potentials.
