Graphic Business-TBSC Version 6.0: ATU downs SD Dombo to meet Central today for semi-final berth

The Accra Technical University withstood a late challenge from SD Dombo University to score a vital win and progress to the quarterfinal as the Round of 16 stage of the ongoing Graphic Business Tertiary Business Sense Challenge Version 6.0 is being staged at the GNAT Hall at Nungua in Greater  Accra.

In a keenly contested match of wits and business acumen the ATU quartet of Obed Eduah, Rikayatu Ali, Desmond Neequaye Ashaley Yeboah Agyei recovered from a slow start in the theories to dominate in the true and false, riddles and business of the day against SD Dombo's quartet of Alhassan Issahak, Dawuni Alhassan, Abdullai Marzouk and Soyoro Julius.

By beating SD Dombo with a score of 43 to 34, ATU has qualified to the quarter-final where they are up against Central University, who drew by after Catholic University failed to make an appearance.

Meanwhile the third contest of the day between Heritage Christian University College (HCUC) and the University of Cape Coast began at the time of going to press.

Today's Round of 16 contests will see the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) take on the Pentecost University while the University of Energy and Natural Resources face off with  the Ghana Communication and Technology University.

The final contest on Friday will see Valley View University clash with the University for Development Studies (UDS).

The Round of 16 competition climaxes tomorrow with a contest involving the University of Ghana and Ndoum School of Business and Technology while the University of Education Winneba takes on the University of Professional Studies Accra.
