JA Plant Pool sensitises drivers to new trucks
JA Plant Pool Gh Ltd, suppliers of heavy duty and earth-moving equipment in the country, has organised a sensitisation workshop for members of the Tipper Drivers Association in Accra.
The workshop benefited tipper drivers within the Dome, Nsawam, Amasaman and Kwabenya areas.
It was aimed at educating drivers on the improved Sinotruk A7 trucks, which JA Plant Pool has introduced.
The Marketing Manager of the company, Mr Benjamin Owusu, explained that the improved Sinotruk A7 trucks were equipped with double coin tyres, thereby solving the difficulty encountered with the old ones.
He advised the members to desist from buying fake spare parts which caused many problems on the old Sinotruk trucks.
The acting Managing Director of the company, Mr Samuel Simpson, said JA Plant Pool was ready to organise a training programme for all members on the Sinotruk A7 trucks to enable them to maintain the equipment well.
In addition, the company will organise free diagnostics and servicing for all members using any of the Sinotruk trucks for one week.
The Chairman of the Tipper Drivers Association, Mr Jonas Allotey, expressed delight about the initiative, and called for similar interventions in the future.
He thanked the company on behalf of members, and called for closer collaboration to help address related challenges.
