The gesture underscores OmniBSIC's commitment to supporting local law enforcement and contributing to community safety and security.

At a handing over ceremony in Accra on Thursday, the Managing Director of OmniBSIC Bank, Daniel Asiedu, emphasised the importance of equipping the police with reliable vehicles to ensure they can carry out their duties effectively.

He said the bank's headquarters, located in the Airport area, has greatly benefited from the diligent work of the Airport Police, contributing to a secure environment that has prevented any incidents that puts the bank at risk.

Therefore, he said it was crucial to support the police to help them exceed their current performance adding that “this vehicle will aid them in patrolling the area more effectively."

Highlighting the shared responsibility of policing, Mr Asiedu acknowledged that while it is primarily the government's duty to equip the Ghana Police, the government faces resource constraints.

He urged other corporate organisations to assist security agencies, particularly the Ghana Police, to foster better cooperation and safety.
