The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has launched UCC eCampus, a structured online learning platform designed to expand access to postgraduate education for professionals in Ghana and beyond.
Through UCC eCampus, qualified learners will be able to pursue selected University of Cape Coast postgraduate programmes online without relocating, leaving employment, or putting their professional responsibilities on hold.
The launch comes as Professor Denis Worlanyo Aheto begins his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, following his official investiture. At an important point in the University's leadership, UCC eCampus reflects its continued commitment to academic excellence, wider access, and education that responds to the needs of professionals and society.
The platform extends selected UCC postgraduate programmes beyond the physical campus through a structured online learning model that combines flexibility with academic rigour.
UCC eCampus will offer career-focused programmes in areas including business administration, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, finance, project management, healthcare management, human resource management, sustainability, supply chain management and organisational leadership.
"I regard UCC eCampus as a statement of intent. The University of Cape Coast has always measured itself by the calibre of graduates it produces and the impact they make. By taking our postgraduate programmes online, we are widening the circle of who can benefit from a UCC education, without compromising a single standard that has earned this University its reputation," Professor Aheto said.
The UCC eCampus portfolio includes MBA, MSc, DBA and PhD programmes developed for professionals at different stages of their careers. The programmes address current organisational and societal priorities, from digital transformation and responsible leadership to financial management, healthcare, sustainability and project delivery.
Students will access lectures, learning resources, assignments, assessments, faculty engagement and academic support through a structured digital learning environment. This model is designed to preserve the quality and intellectual demands of postgraduate study while giving learners greater flexibility over where and when they study.
