Dawn crash on NI Highway - McBrown escapes death
At the time Maxwell was speaking, doctors were still treating Nana Ama and would not allow anyone to visit, not even family members.
Police Inspector Yaw Amoh at the Tesano police station told Showbiz, the driver of the Opel taxi cab which crashed into Nana Ama’s vehicle has been identified as John Kofi Dogbevi.
Throwing more light on the accident, Inspector Yaw Amohsaid because the two cars were on top speed the impact was so severe.
He said the driver of the Opel Vectra, John Kofi Dogbevi was rushed to an unknown hospital by some onlookers while Nana Ama McBrown and her boyfriend were taken to the 37 Military hospital. According to him, the police are yet to trace which hospital John Kofi Dogbevi was taken to for further details.
Although the media were not allowed to see Nana Ama, her family said she was fine and was responding to treatment. Maxwell, who broke his right arm during the accident expressed his gratitude to God for saving their lives.
