Hair apparent

A hair specialist  in the US, Karolynn, identifies  two types of common hair -Caucasian and Asian. Caucasian hair is grouped from places such as Russia, Poland, Romania, Europe and the United States as well and Asian hair is grouped from places such as China, India, the Philippines and Vietnam. A great deal of hair is collected from monasteries as sacrifices and offerings.

In such places, women used to  donate their hair as offering to their God as a sign of modesty. This was sold and the money was then used to improve living conditions in their villages. Now, however, the women come together  to form associations to cut their hair and sell as a  commercial endeavour.

Hair extensions have many advantages. It can change one’s personality, make one more confident and feel more feminine. They can also hide any hair defects that one may have. People with straight hair can opt for curly hair, while blondes can opt for black hair. Hairstyles that were impossible with one’s original hair can be achieved with the use of hair extensions.

But there are negative sides as well. Hair extensions can do damage to one’s natural hair. The glue that is attached to your natural hair can burn and split the ends of your hair. This means that you will almost always be required to have the ends of your hair cut after the extensions are removed.

Also, if a lot of long or heavy extensions are used, this applies additional pressure to your scalp. One of the dangers of extra pressure to your scalp can be a thinning of your natural hair. In some cases there have been reports of headaches from the added weight of the hair or allergies to the bonding glue that is used.

You may think that hair extensions will make your life easier with regards to styling time, but this is not true. Longer hair requires extra work so you need to make sure you are prepared to maintain the hair if you are going to get extensions put in.

So to the ladies, if you want to put on hair extensions, please do not just consider how beautiful you will look, consider also the disadvantages  that come with it and ask your self if you are ready.
