The Comeback on October 1 at National Theatre

For lovers of theatre who missed Uncle Ebo Whyte’s latest play, The Comeback, there will be a second chance when it’s staged at the National Theatre on Sunday, October 1.

The Comeback is part of the series of plays to be shown at this year’s Ghana Theatrical festival.

With an investment as an assurance, Jojo comes home after being sacked from his team due to injury.

However, he finds out that his brother has wasted the money he sent back home. As if that wasn’t enough betrayal, his fiancée leaves him for his brother who was living a comfortable life off his sweat.

The Comeback explores the theme of betrayal, trust and hard work.

There will be two shows on Sunday at 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm respectively. Tickets are going for GHc80 but students will be given discounts. Students with valid ID cards can grab tickets at GHc20 on the various campuses.
