“It is quite unfortunate such a calm, charming and beautiful friend is no more. I call her Corporal Lakour because I featured her in a movie where she played the role of a detective and the character’s name was Corporal Lakour. Ever since, we have been friends and she will call to check on me and my family.

“The last time we met was at the Graphic Showbiz Forum last month where she invited me and afterwards served me some drinks and finger foods.

“If she needs anything from you, it is best you just give her and be free because you will not have your peace of mind. She was such a lovely person and I am personally going to miss her,” he said.

In the words of actor/playwright, Fiifi Coleman, “I was deeply saddened when I heard you were gone. I challenged the call. Texted you on WhatsApp right away and waited for a response. God indeed has you now and I know you’re at peace with Him.

“You were a special friend I could count on. While you may not be physically present, the impact of our friendship will continue to resonate in the lives you touched. Jayne, I will miss you dearly”.

Radio presenter Andy Dosty had this to say, “Jayne Buckman- Owoo, the affable, intelligent and sweet ‘dark black sister’. Her fights with me for not picking up her calls wouldn’t stop until I ‘pacified the gods with some coins’. OmG, I’ll forever miss her”.
