We’re taking fight against Galamsey lightly- Kafui Danku
Ghanaian actress cum movie producer Kafui Danku appears to be quite dissatisfied with the effort to put an end to the country's widespread illegal mining practice known as Galamsey.
The actress is attributing the failure to completely eradicate cases of illegal mining operations in the country to duty bearers' lack of commitment.

“We’re taking this lightly and it’s getting worse by the day. I'm sure we all are aware of the severe consequences of illegal mining activities on our environment. Charley, the quality of our health is at stake! Months ago I couldn’t believe what I saw when I was landing in Takoradi,” she posted on her Facebook page on April 25, 2023.
Kafui Danku mostly known for her role in movies such as Any Other Monday, Alvina: Thunder and Lightning, I Do, swiftly made a plea for action to stop the current situation from getting worse.
