Finance Minister visits Osu Tax Office and urges staff to boost revenue
The Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has urged staff of the Osu Tax Service Centre to scale up their efforts in domestic revenue mobilisation.
Dr. Forson, who paid a working visit to the Centre on Monday, said while the government has made significant gains in expenditure control and the Bank of Ghana continues to perform strongly, revenue generation must now “rise to the challenge.”

Two Ghanaians receive award at ICASA 2025
Two Ghanaian health experts, Dr Henry Nagai and Professor William Ampofo, have received an international award for their long years of support to the Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) in the organisation of the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA).
The two were among 14 others from Africa that received the awards at the opening of the Community Village of the ongoing ICASA 2025 that Ghana is hosting for the first time.
They each received a plague and certificate of recognition.

Bono police arrests 8 notorious armed robbers, including ex-convicts
The Bono Regional Police Command has dismantled several notorious armed robbery networks and arrested eight suspects, including ex-convicts believed to be behind a series of robberies and other criminal activities in Bono and Ahafo regions.
In a separate targeted intelligence-led operation aimed at dismantling the criminal gang operations, the command recovered several weapons and suspected stolen items, including military camouflage uniforms.
The key suspects arrested during the one-month operation are Johnson Amponsah Kwame Diawuo, an ex-convict aged 47, Shadrach Owusu also known as Shark, 25 and Samuel Kwafo, 30, an ex-convict.
