He is commonly known as Roman Fada and works as a broadcaster at Peace FM but his official name is Philip Kwabena Agyemang. This is the man who is replacing Akua Donkor as the presidential candidate of theGhana Freedom Party (GFP) for Election 2024.

The party has since formally filed his nomination at the Electoral Commission. It was filed on Tuesday afternoon.

Roman Fada was Akua Donkor's vice presidential candidate who has now been nominated by the GFP to replace her.

Two social media users have been placed on the police wanted list for suggesting that the 16-year-old son of Apostle Salifu Amoako, who has been accused of manslaughter was not in custody at the Osu Correctional Centre as directed by the court.

In a press statement refuting the claims on social media, the police named two accounts, one on TikTok and the other on Facebook as those spreading false information.

The police statement dated Tuesday, November 5, 2024 explained that following the court's order on November 1, 2024, the accused was taken to the Osu Correctional Centre on remand, and he has been there till, November 5, 2024. 

The Ministry of the Interior has clarified that Friday November 8, is not a public holiday, even though the 2024 National Farmers' Day will be celebrated on that date.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says the change in curriculum at the junior high school (JHS) level does not come with a change in the grading system.

In an announcement today, Castle Minerals said the MIIF has committed a US$2 million investment to support Castle's gold exploration initiatives and the Kambale Graphite Project in northern Ghana.

A High Court in Accra has thrown out an application against Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno’s appointment as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (IGP).

A nationwide survey on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) has revealed that the diseases are responsible for about 45 per cent of all deaths in the country, with cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes being the leading contributors.
