Conditions of service for teachers will be improved — Dr Apaak
The Ministry of Education is committed to improving conditions of service for teachers, the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Clement Apaak, has stated.
He added that the government will ensure that adequate learning and teaching materials were provided, and, therefore, urged teachers to continue their excellent work, assuring them that their dedication would not go unnoticed.
Dr Apaak stated this when he paid a working visit to the Ashaiman Cluster of Schools to interact with the teachers and students.
The visit was to assess the conditions at the school and provide the minister with firsthand insights into the dedication and challenges of the teaching staff of the school.
The visit was part of the Ministry’s broader initiative to engage with educators at the grassroots level, address their concerns and enhance the quality of education across the country.
Dr Apaak commended the teachers for their unwavering commitment and hard work in shaping the minds of future leaders.
He acknowledged the critical role they played in the education sector and assured them of the government's continued support.
