A dream come true for veteran painter
Veteran painter, Kwame Badu, became a proud owner of a brand new Hyundai Accent salon car as the fourth winner of the 'Paint Your Dreams Into Reality' promotion by Coral Paints Ghana.
At 61, Mr Badu has had a long association with Coral Paints spanning almost three decades. And for him, winning the Hyundai Accent car was both a reward for his loyalty to the No. 1 paint brand on the market, as well as a blessing.

He was presented with keys to his car by Mr Luiz Carlos Da Silva, Business Development Manager of Coral Paints, at the Coral Colour Centre in Accra on Wednesday in the presence of the painter's family and friends.
Mr Badu was firm in his belief that his prize was a fitting reward for loyalty to Coral Paints, as well as a proof of the genuineness of the promotion.
"I have been using coral Paints for close to three decades now, hence winning the car is a reward for my long years of loyalty to them," said the excited 61-year-old painter with over 40 years' experience in the profession.
Narrating how he came by his good fortune, Mr Badu said he bought four Coraltex 18L pails for a job, but upon reaching the site he learnt about the demise of his mother. He subsequently took some time off to prepare for his mother's funeral and upon his return, fortune smiled at him as he found a dummy key to the car in one of the pails.
He immediately proceeded to the Coral Paints office where he presented the dummy keys and receipt of purchase, after which he was confirmed as the fourth winner of the promotion.
Mr Yaw Bonnah-Sarpong, General Manager of Coral Paints Ghana, indicated the promotion was the company's way of rewarding its customers for their loyalty, and added that the fact that four different customers from diverse backgrounds had so far won brand new Hyundai Accent cars pointed to the uniqueness of the Coral Paints promotion.

The Business Development Manager of Coral Paints, Mr Luiz Carlos Da Silva, explained that Coral Paints Ghana decided to use the Coraltex 18 Litre paint as the star product of the promotion as a result of its uniqueness and value it provided users.
"The Coraltex 18 litres paint is the product with the highest spreading on the market (375 square metres per 18-litre bucket) and the only Premium Acylic Emulsion with UV resistant pigments. This means that the colours will keep their original shade without fading for a very long time," he said.
