Dr Oheneba Ayani Boadum ordained
The Presiding Bishop of the Jesus Generation Ministries, Rt Rev. Dr Anyani Boadum, has advised Ghanaians to seek career opportunities that will facilitate their personal development.

“It is disturbing to see people going for prayers throughout the week without providing themselves with a trade or career,” he said.
Dr Boadum was speaking at a ceremony to ordain the minister in charge of the English Chapel of the church in Accra.
The new man of God is Rev. Dr Oheneba Ayani Boadum.
A college of Bishops, including Rev. Dr Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi, Prophet Manasseh Atsu and Rev. Eric Ofori Boateng, was constituted to ordain the reverend minister.
He said although the call to ministration must be full time, it was still necessary to acquire a career that would provide the opportunity for all to earn a living.
“People who want to be ministering for God must work with their hands. You need to do something with your life,” he said.
Ordaining the pastor, the Head Pastor of the Victory Bible Church, Rev. Dr Nii Tackie-Yarboi, stressed the need for the training of more leaders in all aspects of life to ensure continuity.

According to him, when more leaders are trained, it will ensure the continuation of our heritage, which will also contribute to nation building.
“When we encourage society to train leaders, there is continuation in terms of policy, vision and objectives,” he said, and encouraged the newly ordained pastor to be focused, prayerful and hardworking in every aspect of life.
The new pastor
The new pastor who is a medical doctor at the St Gregory Catholic Hospital at Budumburam, noted that the call to do God’s work would not affect his career as a medical practitioner.
“It will equip me to work even harder to win more souls for God, especially in my daily interaction with people”.
“The call of God is the greatest thing any man can experience irrespective of who you are. His sufficiency has made us able bodied ministers,” he said.
