Investing in education, healthcare
At the southern sector ceremony, the Managing Director of Ghacem, Dr Frank Huber, reaffirmed that GHACEM’s CSR initiatives remained a key focus, particularly and the company took pride in this initiative, emphasising its role in enhancing education and healthcare as the pillars of a thriving society.
“Investing in education and health makes the greatest impact. These two sectors are the foundation of every successful society and that is what motivates us to sustain the GHACEM Cement Foundation,” he stated.
Dr Huber commended community leaders, including the various headmasters and medical directors for their commitment to Ghana’s development through their participation in the foundation’s initiatives.
The MD of GHACEM further highlighted the company’s dedication to innovation, announcing an upcoming new cement product with the lowest carbon dioxide footprint in Africa.
Impact
The Paramount Chief of Assin Kushea, Ehunabobrim Prah Agyensaim VI, who chairs the foundation, expressed satisfaction with the impact the foundation had made over the past 23 years.
