The director of administration of the church, Pastor Dzifa Gakpleazi, handed over the items to the school last Wednesday on behalf of the Apostle General. She explained that the move was in line with the AG’s schools’ capacity building agenda.

She further explained that it was also in conformity with one of the threefold visions of the church: bringing people into God’s presence through prayer, praise and worship.

Speaking on behalf of the AG, Pastor Gakpleazi called for a peaceful general election as the country  prepared for the November polls.

She said Rev. Ankrah had been praying for an election devoid of violence, as well as  a unified front to build the country.

Social Interventions

Pastor Gakpleazi said “the church also runs a compassion ministry,” following from which it carried out social programmes aimed at transforming the lives of the vulnerable, socially excluded and the less-privileged to give them hope for the future.

Since 1994, Royalhouse Chapel has undertaken numerous social intervention programmes that have transformed many lives, families and communities.

She mentioned some of the interventions as a prisons ministry, community outreach programme, scholarship foundation, senior citizens ministry, school of restoration, feed the hungry and hospital ministry.

Appreciation

Receiving the instrument on behalf of the school, the headmaster, Mr Emmanuel Fiemawule, commended the Apostle General for the gesture.

Present at the ceremony were the General Secretary of Royal Ladies, the women’s wing of the church, Pastor Hannah Yawson, and other executives of the church.
