Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a former Minister of Trade and Industry says Ghana needs change in government in order to transform the economy of the country.
Alan Kyeremanten who has declared his intentions to contest the upcoming 2024 Presidential elections as an independent candidate after breaking away from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) said he remains the sole candidate who can guarantee the economic industrialisation of the country.

Mr. Kyeremanten, popularly known as "Alan Cash" made this known during his Monday afternoon's press conference in Accra, September 25, 2023.
He expressed the concern that every year over 300,000 graduates from tertiary institutions in Ghana, excluding those from secondary institutions, enter the job market with little or no hope of finding a job, saying "Clearly, public sector employment is not an option, with an already over-bloated public service."
For him, "this phenomenon of pervasive employment crisis, is gradually becoming a national security threat, as evidenced by the recent “Occupy Julorbi House” demonstrations."
Mr. Kyeremanten also expressed unhappiness about how the police handled the recent protesters in the #OccupyJolorbiHouse demonstration.
"The initial reaction of the Police in manhandling some protestors is not the solution to the problem. What Ghana needs now is CHANGE, which will provide long-lasting solutions to the challenges confronting our country," he stated.
Alan has therefore appealed to voters to vote for him in the 2024 presidential election.

"I am using this platform to introduce myself to you, the good people of Ghana and humbly seek your support to become the next President of the Republic of Ghana," he said.
Mr. Kyeremanten said "I believe, with unwavering conviction, that I am the only leader who, with unmatched integrity, can guarantee the economic and industrial transformation of Ghana, the restoration of confidence in political leadership, and the unification of an increasingly divided nation."
He said unique as a leader was based on his vision, competence, integrity and action.
