Nana Addo to give NPP regional offices 100 motorbikes
All regional offices of the New Patriotic Party are to receive 10 motorbikes each from Nana Akufo-Addo, the party’s presidential candidate for election 2016.
The motorbikes, part of logistics to be provided the party to effectively prosecute its 2016 election campaign, are to be handed to regional chairmen this week.
The gesture is contained in an open letter issued by Nana Addo Thursday, in which he says the best way he could thank delegates to the party’s October 18, 2014 conference for voting massively for him, “is to begin the process of mobilising resources and logistics, ahead of election 2016, for the prosecution of an effective campaign.”
“In view of this, friends of mine and I have begun the first phase of equipping the party which will see every region receive ten (10) motorbikes. The motorbikes will be delivered to the Regional Chairmen this week.”
Nana Addo won a massive 94.35% of votes, an outcome he says sends a clear message: that he must “deliver power for the party and the nation in 2016.”
