Pappoe noted that the club had faith in Attram to lead them for the big challenge ahead in the Premier League and will not change him.

Coach Attram was reported to have been demoted by Olympics to the assistant role to pave way for former Liberty Professionals trainer, George Lamptey.

In an interview with the Graphic Sports, Pappoe said, "It is a palpable lie to say that we want to replace Godwin Attram with George Lamptey as our coach. We believe in our coach and we want him to continue with his role".

"He will continue as a player-coach since we are comfortable with him and we know he will deliver for the team. Also, we are not looking at adding new faces to our technical team because we are satisfied with them," he added.

Coach Attram has begun preparing the team in pre-season as he seeks to scout for new players for the team ahead of the upcoming season.

Coach Attram led Olympics from the wilderness of football in Division One to the top flight and he is expected to lead the club to higher heights when the season begins.
