CSOs appeal to Youth Ministry to address unemployment situation

A coalition of civil society organisations (CSOs) into youth development in the Northern Region has appealed to the Ministry of Youth and Sports to address the problem of growing youth unemployment which it says has become chronic in the country.

MTN gives GH¢42,000 for 42nd SWAG Awards

Telecommunication giants, MTN Ghana, has supported this year's Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards with a whopping GH¢42,000 ahead of the event on May 27 at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra.

The 42nd edition of the MTN-sponsored SWAG Awards, which is aimed at rewarding distinguished sports men and women who have excelled in their various fields of endeavour in the year 2016, was officially launched yesterday in Accra.
