Black Starlets thrash Burkina Faso 5-1 in first leg tie

The national U-17 male team have defeated their Burkinabe counterparts 5-1 in their African U-17 Championship qualifying first leg match played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
The Black Starlets came from a goal down before Emmanuel Opoku's equalizer and captain Eric Ayiah's brace.
Isaac Antah made it 4-1 for Ghana before Nathaniel Opoku scored few minutes to the end of the game to give Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin's side a comfortable win ahead of the second leg to be played in Ouagadougou in a fortnight.
Winner of this tie will advance to the next stage of the qualifiers to face either Benin or Ivory Coast.
