Euphoria FC crowned champions at Bowmarie Community Football Gala
Euphoria FC were crowned champions of the third edition of the Bowmarie Community Football Gala after edging Kpandai Bayern Munich in a tense penalty shootout on Christmas Day.
The championship match lived up to expectations, with both sides delivering a disciplined and tactical performance that ended goalless after regulation time.
Neither team was able to find a breakthrough in a closely contested final, forcing the title to be decided from the spot. Euphoria FC kept their composure in the shootout to secure the top prize.
Euphoria FC’s route to the final was marked by an emphatic 4–0 semifinal victory over Baduri FC, underlining their attacking strength and confidence heading into the decider.

Kpandai Bayern Munich, on the other hand, had to dig deep in their semifinal clash against Wounded Lions FC, playing out a goalless draw before prevailing in a penalty shootout to book their place in the final.
The third-place playoff also delivered excitement, as Wounded Lions FC bounced back from their semifinal disappointment to defeat Baduri FC 4–2 and claim the bronze position.
The tournament organisers rewarded the top three teams for their performances. Champions Euphoria FC received GHC 1,500, the championship trophy, two Ashlid footballs and medals.
Runners-up Kpandai Bayern Munich pocketed GHC 1,000, two Ashlid footballs and medals, while third-placed Wounded Lions FC took home GHC 500, one football and medals.
The third edition of the Bowmarie Community Football Gala further cemented the competition’s growing reputation as a platform for nurturing local football talent and strengthening community spirit during the festive season.
