Glo launches ‘Let’s go to Brazil’ promotion

Glo Mobile Ghana has rolled out a lifetime offer which will see 25 lucky customers being flown to Brazil to support the Black Stars and experience the 2014 FIFA World Cup live.

The unique package, dubbed ‘Let’s Go to Brazil’, includes an all-expenses-paid trip for 22 subscribers and three dealers, as well as consolation prizes for one thousand Glo customers who might miss the Brazil flight.

Launching the promo in Accra yesterday in the company of other officials and Glo Ambassador, Van Vicker, Mr Akeem Kazeem, the Head of Business at Glo Mobile Ghana, said active subscribers would be sponsored by the telecommunication company to Brazil between June and July to fulfil their passion at the highest level of soccer.

“Prepaid customers on Glo who cumulatively recharge their lines with a minimum of GH¢15 talk-time from now till the end of May stand a good chance of being selected for the all-expense-paid trip to Brazil,” he explained.

“Additionally, in the event that a customer wins a place to go to Brazil but is unable to make the trip due to inability to obtain a passport or visa for the trip or for any technical reason, such a subscriber will still receive a flat take-home sum of GH¢5,000 cash.”

Mr Kazeem declared that the countdown for the journey to Brazil has begun for every Glo subscriber, stressing, “From this moment onwards, all recharges and top-ups are being counted - and by May 31 you could be among the lucky winners who will go to Brazil to watch football and Samba!”
