GPL coaching casualties: Bibiani GoldStars appoint Frimpong Manso after parting ways with Michael Osei
Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Bibiani GoldStars have announced parting ways with head coach Michael Osei and have appointed former Bofoakwa Tano coach Frimpong Manso as his replacement.
Michael Osei, who was appointed in August 2021, guided to team to finish 10th in the 2021/22 season while they ended the 2022/23 season on 5th position.

On the other hand, Manso was stripped of his duties at Bofoakwa following a draw with rivals Nsoatreman FC last month. His immediate task at GoldStars will be to guide the team for the Week 14 fixture against Dreams FC.
A statement from Bibiani GoldStars read: “We would like to thank our head coach Michael Osei for his immense contributions towards the success of our club and want to wish him the very best in his future endeavours”.
“We are indebted to you for being patient with us, thanks for helping and being there for us in both the good and bad times. You will forever be in our hearts,” it added.
