Kotoko coach, David Duncan, was asked to “step aside” following last Sunday’s devastating 1-0 loss away to Aduana Stars which left them rooted to the bottom of the table, while fourth-placed Liberty Professionals will enter the clash as favourites after humbling league champions, Ashgold, 5-1 at the Carl Reindorf Park.

At the Nana Ameyaw Park at Techiman, second-placed Accra Hearts of Oak will be hopeful of bouncing back from their first defeat of the campaign when they play debutantes Techiman City.

At the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, defending champions, Ashgold, who have made a poor defence of their title thus far, play third placed Dreams FC. Seventh-placed West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) welcome 15th-placed New Edubiase United to their WAFA Stadium fortress, and league leaders Wa All Stars lock horns with Ebusua Dwarfs.

In the other interesting fixtures, third from bottom Inter Allies host ninth-placed Bechem United at the Tema Park, fifth-placed Berekum Chelsea battle 10th-placed Aduana Stars at the Golden City Park, and 12th-placed Sekondi Hasaacas contend with eighth-placed Medeama SC at the Sekondi Stadium in Essipon.
