Watch Jordan Ayew's composed finish in Palace stunning victory at Man Utd
Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew scored his club's first goal of the 2019/2020 English Premier League today as Crystal Palace stunned Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ayew, 27, scored the opener in the first half against the run of play, latching onto a flick-on from compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp before coolly converting Palace's first goal of the season.
Welsh winger Daniel James thought he had rescued a point for United when he curled in a delightful equaliser in the 89th minute but Palace had the last laugh with some late drama courtesy Patrick van Aanholt.

The fullback thumped home in the 93rd minute, following a forward run by Wilfried Zaha.
In an interview after the match, Ayew said he was excited to have scored and was looking forward to score more goals this season
"We are happy; I think we put in a good performance. And now we just need to enjoy the moment because it is not easy to come and win at Old Trafford," Ayew, who was substituted by Benteke in the 75th minute, told Palace TV as reported by his club's official website.
"I’m a striker, so I’m happy to score; we are all together, me and Christian, it’s a good competition [between us].
"To come back and score a goal is a good thing for me, but like I said, it was to do with teamwork. Got to congratulate the guys for the three points.
"It’s nice to hear the fans sing my name during the game; I’ll keep working hard and hopefully it’s just the beginning [of what is] to come from me."
