Yeboah assures fans of comeback

Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Samuel Yeboah, claims his side did not deserve to lose their Premier League clash with rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko but gave an assurance that the Phobians would bounce back strongly in subsequent games.

Hearts conceded the only goal of the game when their goalie Soulama Abdoulaye inadvertently directed a back pass into his own goal.

Yeboah, in a post-match interview, said Kotoko were lucky to win the game, adding that Hearts dominated the match.

"I think we came in wanting to win and dominated but unfortunately they (Kotoko) got one goal and everything changed.

"It’s not a bad day; we dominated, we pushed and tried and the goal separated the two of us,” he observed.

"As you can see it’s not a goal that they worked for; it’s just one of those things. It’s not like they are extraordinary; unfortunately that's what I can say."

The 29-year-old expressed gratitude to the Hearts fans who thronged the Accra Stadium, promising that the team will get back to winning ways against Berekum Chelsea this weekend.  We appreciate the fans’ support and we’re going to fix it and make them happy again.
